Employee Support Fund Application

Completed ESF Applications are forwarded to the ESF Secretary for processing. The application is also available on MyPath. Upon receipt, the ESF Secretary will assign the application to an ESF Application Committee Member, who serves as the primary point of contact for the applicant and helps obtain missing information, supporting documentation, or any other details needed to ensure the ESF can make a proper determination.

The assigned Application Committee Member will then submit the application for vote by the ESF Application Committee, which will then serve as a recommendation to the ESF Board of Directors. The ESF Secretary then forwards the application and the Application Committee's recommendation to the ESF Board of Directors, who review the information and cast independent votes on whether or not to approve an application. If approved, the ESF Secretary and Treasurer will work together to disburse funds appropriately.

The length of the entire process depends on the amount of information initially supplied by the applicant and the amount of information that has to be gathered by the assigned Application Committee Member, though it is the intent of the Application Committee and ESF Directors to respond as quickly as possible to all applications. Providing supporting documentation (i.e., copies of billing statements, invoices, proposals, etc.) with your application helps expedite the review process.
